Asset Management

The Q-Pulse Asset Management module provides you with the ability to assign any number of actions to an asset record and, from there, automatically monitor these across your complete inventory. The module also highlights pending and outstanding actions and communicates them to the relevant people until they have been addressed. This ensures exposure to the use of unregulated equipment is minimised. There is also a direct link between the Asset Management module and the Issues and CAPA module, allowing for any defects to be raised through a wizard process.

The Asset Management module has been designed to help managers plan effectively ahead of services, calibrations or safety tests and offers a quick search facility to highlight where alternative suitable equipment is located during such occasions and in the event of any problems. A historical record is also provided for each piece of equipment that can be used to adjust the service intervals if necessary.

Customer Management

Every customer comment, positive or negative, is valuable. Q-Pulse provides the facility to keep a record of all customers who have made a comment about a product or service. The information can be viewed and analysed and the response time monitored; any complaints not being addressed can automatically be escalated for action.

To understand the nature and root cause of the complaint, the integrated business mapping tool in Q-Pulse helps collect, organise and understand information about a specific situation or problem. The graphical grouping and trend reports in the Analysis module assist in spotting problems or weak practices from across the business and can help with the solution to individual issues.

Supplier Management

Q-Pulse provides a listing of all suppliers, their details and a quality record showing historical performance for each supplier in terms of delivery, failures, warranty claims, returns, complaints, audits and reviews.

A register of approved suppliers shows those under consideration and those deemed unsuitable. This information is made available to the purchasing function to ensure inappropriate suppliers are not used and thereby preventing costly mistakes.

Analysis and Improvement

To overcome the challenge of actually identifying what areas ought to be addressed, Q-Pulse provides graphical grouping and trend reports that greatly assist in spotting related issues, which, in turn, help identify opportunities for improvement.

The Analysis module allows you to demonstrate to customer, surveillance and third party organisations that you are serious about continuous improvement and, more importantly, meeting and exceeding customer needs.

By removing several steps in managing corrective and preventive actions, Q-Pulse closes the loop on CA/PA analysis, reducing the effort spent managing CA/PA and accelerating time to completion for corrective and preventive actions.
