Hosted Q-Pulse Deployment

Gael achieved ISO 27001 certification in 2010 and our data centre is also ISO 27001 certified, making it suitable for use in all organisations, even those with high security requirements like government departments and the NHS N3 network. Robust backup and disaster recovery procedures means that, in the event of a "disaster", data can be recovered quickly and easily.

A Hosted Q-Pulse deployment provides a simplified and cost effective way of rolling out a quality management system (QMS). This option is ideal if your organisation has:

• A small, overworked IT department or no IT resource at all;
• No budget for purchasing potentially expensive IT hardware;
• The need for a quick implemenation of an electronic QMS.

This deployment option involves both the setup and maintenance being taken care of by the service provider and not by your own IT staff. Servers are rented, removing the need to purchase expensive IT equipment.

The Hosted deployment involves the installation of the Q-Pulse server application and database(s) at Gael's own cloud data centre, while end users access and update the QMS via a desktop application or web interface. This option requires internet access to facilitate communication between the business location and our data centre.

The installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of the QMS, including performance monitoring, backups and upgrades, are managed by Gael's Technical Services team, removing reliance on your organisation's IT department.

Choosing the hosted deployment option can also be very cost effective. There's no need to purchase expensive IT equipment and the cost of Q-Pulse, server rental, support and licencing can be rolled up into a fixed quarterly payment which can be spread over a period of three years.
